Knights continue Lenten fish fry

The Stephenville Knights of Columbus continue their Lenten Fish Fry this Friday at Newman Hall.

The weekly event will run from 5-7 p.m. Fridays through March 23.

The meal will consist of fish, coleslaw, beans, hushpuppies, French fries, tea and dessert.

Prices for all you can eat are $8 for seniors and children under 12 and $10 for everyone else.

Take-out service is available by calling 965-5693. Orders may be picked up at the back of Newman Hall on Centennial Street. All take-out orders are $10 per plate.

Part of this week’s proceeds benefit H.O.P.E.

The community is invited to contribute one can of food for each of the 40 days of Lent. Collected food will be distributed to local pantries for immediate use and to replenish depleted supplies from the recent holidays.

Donations will be accepted at the Friday fish fries at Newman Hall, at St. Brendan’s and St. Mary’s churches and KSTV.
