Where the fish are biting off Perth this weekend

There's warm weather forecast this weekend and anglers in Perth will be sure to get out there and dangle a line.

To help with the hunt, WA's peak angling body Recfishwest has put together a weekly report on what's biting and where.

Boats

The boats that have been anchoring and burleying between Champion Rock and Garden Island have been doing well on pink snapper, especially early morning and evening.

A few incidental catches were also picked up on this method including dhufish, yellowtail kingfish and samson fish.

Salmon were found near Mewstones as well as in the waters of Cockburn Sound and Warnbro Sound.
