A diner at the popular Asbury Park restaurant Stella Marina found a worm in his aunt's fish dinner and posted a video of it to Facebook, according to reports.
NJ.com reports that Jim Guinee, of Middletown, was out to dinner with his family when his aunt cut into her cod fish dinner and found what appeared to be a worm. He took a video and posted it to Facebook, garnering about 100,000 views.
You can see the video below.
The video also caught the attention of the restaurant itself, and they responded via Facebook, not pleased at what they called Guinee's "callousness and irresponsible reaction of an attorney of law to attempt to destroy our reputation & possible livelihoods due to something that could have happened to anyone, whether cooking at home or in a restaurant."
You can read their full statement below.
Guinee said the staff was very apologetic after the incident, according to the report, but also said that another diner came up to him and his family and said that they had had a similar experience.
