The fish guide gives you a detailed description of each fish family. The guide has information on nine fish families.
The Fishes guide describes nine fish families. Here are just three of the nine fish families in the guide.

Once you have identified the fish family, the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife provides a picture of each fish in that family and more information on each pictured fish.
Once you choose a fish family in the guide, you are shown pictures of each fish that belongs in that family. Here are two pictures of some catfish in the catfish family.
